How short is short enough?

09:10 PM Crazy Al mowed his lawn tonight at 8:30 p.m. Not that it needed mowing. He had already mowed it 6 times today. Just for his own amusement, he used a variety of lawn mowers to get the job done. Sometimes I wonder if there's any actual grass over there. Maybe he's just pretending to mow. Allen wasn't amused. He's going to speak with Eric tomorrow. (Eric is the chief of police)
