I was reading about the Drowned Towns of the Swift River Valley (I do sometimes) and I saw this on the Quabbin Reservoir's Wikipedia page:


On May 14, 2013, at 12:30 am (00:30 am) a half hour after midnight, a group of seven individuals from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, were caught trespassing by Massachusetts State Police in a no-trespassing zone of the reservoir. The individuals told police they were chemical engineers and recent college graduates who were visiting the reservoir because of their "career interests." The group was released by police at the scene, and an investigation found no connection to crimes other than tresspassing. State officials tested the waters, and determined everything was safe. Each of the seven people were allowed to leave after being issued a summons for trespassing. It was after midnight on Tuesday morning when a state trooper on patrol at the reservoir spotted two cars parked on the grass near one of Quabbin’s entrances. The cop investigated and found a group of seven people, five men and two women walking from the water back to their cars. When the police officer asked why they were trespassing, members of the group replied that they were chemical engineers and recent college graduates who had an educational interest in the reservoir, according to police.^[5] However, the FBI is investigating the matter, and precautionary inspections of nearby public water supplies have been increased, CBS Boston reports.^[6] The seven individuals, whose identities were not released because of any formal arrest, will be summonsed to appear in a district court for trespassing. A court date is pending, according to officials.^[7][8] Patrols at public water supplies were increased in response.^[9]

^{They had "career interests" so all seven of them went to the Quabbin Reservoir after midnight and they went there in the dark (because chemical engineering work is always better IN THE DARK)...}

^{They're were "issued a summons for trespassing" but I got ARRESTED for being in a public park THREE MINUTES after the park closed (it closed at 9:00 p.m.)}
